Privacy Policy

What we collect

Only what we need to document your property and deliver your work.

• Your account: name, email address, phone number and language preference. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google — never your password.
• Your project: property address, ZIP code, area, number of levels, year built, current and proposed use, and whatever you tell us about the scope of work.
• Your survey:photographs and visual samples of the property, physical measurements you take with a tape or laser, and — if you use the app — the geometry produced by your device’s sensor.
• Your activity: who changed what and when, including downloads. This is part of the project record and cannot be deleted without deleting the record itself.

What we do NOT collect

• Card details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Your password in plain text. Supabase Auth stores only a cryptographic hash.
• Your background location, your microphone or your contacts.

Optional precise location

• Precise location: the app may request location while you are using it to name a project and record the survey site. It is optional, is not collected in the background, and scanning works without it. If you allow it and upload a capture, the location data travels with that project record.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It is shared only with the providers that make the service work:

• Supabase (United States) — database, accounts and file storage.
• DigitalOcean (United States) — the server the platform runs on.
• Stripe — payments. Receives your email address and the amount.
• Resend— delivery of the platform’s email.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — checking that you are not an automated program.
• Anthropic — recognizing building systems in photographs. Only if you explicitly authorize it at the time, and images are re-compressed with their metadata stripped before they are sent.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.

Who can see your projects

Each organization sees only its own work, and that separation is enforced by the database, not by the screen. A project is visible to people in your organization and to anyone you explicitly share it with. The JALM team accesses your record to do the work you hire us for, and those accesses are logged.

How long we keep it

Permit documents are evidence. We keep them for as long as the record has value to you or the law requires us to. File versions are immutable: withdrawing a document marks it as withdrawn, with a reason and a date, but does not erase the fact that it existed. Anti-abuse counters are deleted after 24 hours.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to info@jalmindustrialsolutions.com. Deleting an account does not erase the record of work already delivered or the accounting records the law requires us to keep; we will tell you plainly what can be deleted and what cannot.

Minors

This service is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 years of age.

Changes

If we change this policy we will also change its version, and we will ask you to accept it again when the change is substantial.
